Blogger copycats

Happy end of the workweek, and I hope it has been a good one for everyone!  Today I'm linking up with Sarah over at Simply Sarah, and the theme is "Blogger Copycats". The idea is to take a picture a fellow blogger has posted of an outfit you like, and to re-create it.  This sort of link up is wonderful because in addition to seeing what other great bloggers are up to, they save me from having to come up with something original!

I decided to copy this look that the gorgeous Ellyse from Running Late put together.  If you've never been to her blog, definitely take a looksy.  Ellyse is a stunning Sandra Bullock look-alike who has impeccable style and an enviable clothing budget.

And here is my (slightly out-of-focus) version:

Braid a section of hair right behind each ear, and fasten in the back with a small rubber band.

I had been on a desperate search to find a pleated mint skirt, and finally found one at ModCloth here!
Snag it while you can.

What do you think of the mint trend this spring? Have you bought anything in that particular shade, or is it a fad you're going to let pass?

Have a great weekend, and see you next week!

~MM

  49. This is exactly the kind of skirt i want to get, the color oh that beautiful almost mermaid like color i wish i could pull off something like that but on me it would look bulky and it would probably transform me into a kindergarden student and not 22 year old young lady which is that anything remotely cute and girly does to me
