Whole lotta print mixing, y'all

Hello, long lost friends!  It's been so long I feel like I need to re-introduce myself.  Hello. I'm a short person. This is my blog. When I'm not lounging around in yoga pants or mindlessly browsing Pinterest in my underwear, I take pictures of my wardrobe and post them here.

And I've missed you!  I was on vacation this past week in Nashville and it was a wonderful, relaxing time with family. We ate and drank and got pedicures and fought my mom's pups for places on the couch to watch the season finale of House and "The Gray". (You can go ahead and skip the latter).  It was wonderful and went way ... too ...  quickly.

I snapped pics of most of the outfits I wore while I was there, so those will probably take up most of the next week.  So sit back, relax, and get ready to see these green pants over and over and over again, because I'm pretty sure they're the only pair I took with me.

  1. yay glad to see you're back!  I said the same thing, I've been on hiatus so long I almost forgot I had a blog.  LOVE the outfit though; I think the mixing is just perfect.  And that house?  Is that your moms? Because WOW....gorgeous! I am in love with columns...and obsessed with your Yorkie.  How adorable!  You look fab girl :-)

  2. Yay! Your back!  Hope your vaca was fun!  I honestly don't think this outfit has to much going on.  I really really like it, but anytime you throw leopard on an outfit, I'm going to like it! lol  There's not a single thing I'd change, I think it's fun and classy, and I'd wear it in a second!

    Have a good one!

  5. You've had so much going on - you're certainly entitled to a break!  And thanks, friend!  The house is my mom's ... she's amazing with interior design and seriously hand chose every last piece of tile that went into her house. I wish I had inherited some of her designer sense!

  9. I love the pants, Bonnie! I have been so into this neon / colored denim trend, too. I just bought a pair of neon pink cropped khakis from the Gap this weekend and I'm so excited to wear them. I think your print mixing is just right since the color families are similar. You look beautiful!

  10. This is def not too much mixing. Your leopard belt is nice and subtle due to it being skinny. Gorgeous!

  12. As someone that wore 4 patterns in one outfit, this is not too much pattern mixing :) The stripes look so cute paired with the leopard accents! I am taking mental notes on your look for the next time I wear my green skinny jeans :)

  17. All I could think about when I was looking at this outfit at first is how AMAZING your hair looks.  Really- its perfect. I think this outfit is super fun with the patterns you picked out. Subtle with the belt and shoes but enough to notice it.

  24. Loving the outfit! When you watch "The Gray", did you watch to the very very end, past all the credits? It shows how the final battle with the wolf ended. I hope I'm thinking of the right movie...it's the one with Liam Neeson. I didn't care for it too much either.

  26. I'm loving the leopard with the turquoise!

I've been having so-so luck with eBay.  Some things sell, some things seem popular enough for a bunch of people to watch, but then they don't bid.  I guess it just takes time.  Oh well, there are just some things I'd rather not donate.

  27. Holy cow woman, I totally did a double take....you look so much like Sarah Jessica Parker in that first pic. I love your entire outfit and think it's the perfect amount of print mixing to be fashion forward but not over the top. Love it and I wanna wear it..ha!

  46. Gorgeous outfit. I think leopard and stripes pair great together, done in subtle amounts like you have done here. I love every single piece you are wearing and I am in love with these bright mint skinnies and your arm full of candy (love those bracelets & watch). What a gorgeous Yorkie, too.

Please stop by and show some love to my blog. There are many new outfits in there. I do appreciate it, doll.

I'm loving the mix of cheetah and stripes here. You look so well put together. This inspires me to go pull out my cheetah heels.
